The Washington correspondent of the New York Times, says it is authoritatively stated that France is financing the construction of additional aircraft factories to speed uo United States production, and s advancing £1,000,000 dollars for Pratt-Whitnev and Curtis-Wright planes. The correspondent adds that Finland : s negotiating for the purchase of 800 planes.
