The South African Government has drafted proposals for the conversion of £14.000,000 worth of new loan stock. It will bo issued at: £99 10s for 10 years at 33 per cent. The Minister of Finance, Mr. ,1. 11. I-lofTmeycr, is seeking the co-opera-tion of financial institutions to maintain cheap money.
