PORT OF GISBORNE

VESSELS DUE AT GISBORNE Pukcko, Lyttelton and Wellington November 9. Kiwitea. Greymouth. November 9. Kopara, Auckland, November 9. Margaret W., Auckland, November 9. Wainui, southern ports, October 13.

COASTAL TRADE The Pukeko was delayed at-south-ern ports and leaves Wellington today for Napier and Gisborne. The ship works Napier to-morrow and arrives at Gisborne on Wednesday, but owing to the holiday on the waterfront the vessel will discharge on Thursday. The ship has Lyttelton and Wellington cargo for Gisborne. Tin? Kiwitea is due at Gisborne on Wednesday from Napier to complete discharge of her coal, timber and posts from Westport and Greymouth. The ship will commence discharge on Thursday and on completion will sad for Westport, thence Wellington. The Kopara loads at Portland today and at Auckland to-morrow lor the Coast, Gisborne and Napier. Tlie vessel Is due here on Thursday. The Wainui leaves Dunedin to-da.v for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Gisborne and Napier. Tlie ship works this port on November 13. The Margaret W. loads at Auckland to-day and to-morrow for Tokomaru Bay,' Tolaga Bay and Gisborne, and is due here on Thursday.

KAPUNI SOLD The well-known coastal motorship Kapuni has been sold to A. G. Frankham. Limited. Auckland, and will leave Wellington; early this week for Auckland to trade under the Mag ot her new owners. For many years the Kapuni, owned by the South Taranaki Shipping Company, Limned, Patea, itas been engaged in the trade between Wellington and Patea in conjunction with ihe company's other vessels, Tlawera and Inaha. Some weeks ago the company bought the motor shin Foxton from the Canterbury Steam Shipping Company. Limited to replace the Kapuni. A wooden vessel of 190 Urns gross register, the Kapuni was built in Auckland in 1909 by W .H. Brown. Originally a steamer she was converted, together with tlie Hawera, into a motor ship several years ago.
