TOLAGA BAY NEWS
(K<,ra!<l Correspondent.) Members of the Presbyterian Church Guild held a shop day in Tolaga Bay on Saturday, Mrs, Milne allowing the use of her verandah for the stalls. Mrs. A, J. Reid and Mrs. V. Curry were in charge of the produce stalls, and Mrs. Ballard and Mrs. McCullough in charge of the jumble stall. The car fund, l'or which the sale was held. benefited by a substantial amount. A most enjoyable open evening was held by the Tolaga Bay Boy Scout troop on Friday. Several branches of Scout craft were demonstrated, and Sister Johnson, of the Cottage Hospital, commented favourably on the performances. A delightful supper was served by the ladies, assisted by the Scouts. It is hoped to hold another such evening before the close of the year, Mr. Gilder has returned from the Cook Hospital.—Miss S. Martin, who was a patient in the Cook Hospital, has returned home. —Miss D. Sayers is the guest of Mrs. Holder.
