BERLIN VERSION

AUSTRALIAN DECISION LONDON CORRECTION (J'.ntisli Official Wireless.) Reed. 12 noon. RUGBY, Nov. 8. A German wireless broadcast states that the decision of the Government of Australia not to send an air force to Europe was due to increasing opposition in the Dominions to the war. British Government quarters have issued a statement that the Australian Prime Minister, Mr. R. G. Menzies, has already outlined the reasons, namely, that it was the British suggestion that the Commonwealth's best contribution, once the Canadian scheme was settled, would be to keep the personnel in Australia and enable pilots to help in the early training for the wider scheme.
