MAN’S NECK BROKEN
BELATED DISCOVERY SYDNEY, Oct. 13. For 111 days Francis Edward Bond, aged 59, of Stirling street, Kedfern, who died in Sydney Hospital on October Hi, had a broken neck without knowing it. This is disclosed in a police report to the City Coroner, Mr. Oram, who yesterday ordered that an inquest be held into Mr. Bond's death. According to llie report, Mr. Bond was on a lorry on Windsor road on October 1, carrying crockery for a military camp. In swerving to pass another lorry, the steering locked, and the lorry overturned, throwing Mr. Bond and another man to the road. Both were taken to the Parramatta Hospital, but after treatment they were allowed to go home.
