REBEKAH LODGE
SOCIAL EVENING A meeting of the Gisborne Rebekali Lodge, 1.0.0. F.. was held recently in the Oddfellows’ Hall. Derby street, Sister English, N.G., presiding over a fair muster. The visiting committee's report was lengthy. One new member was elected and an initiation ceremony will be carried out next lodge night. After the business bad been dispatched a very enjoyable social evening was held. Hems were given by the following: Month organ items. Y.M.C.A. Band: recitations. Mr. Norman Leo; songs, Mr. Goldsmith, Misses Mnsemann and Goldsmith: piano accordion solo, Mr. Smiley. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Mr. Callaghan and Miss K. O’Connell.
A delicious supper was served by the social committee. Sister English. N.G.. was Ihc M.C. Sister Ledger provided the music for the dancing.
