Cracknell, who has a reputation for managing fractious horses, will ride Te Hero in the Cantala Stakes. S. Davidson will ride Laiglon, W. Cox, Buzalong and N. Percival, Beau Vile in the Melbourne Cup. O. Phillips is mentioned as the rider of Beau Vile in the Derby. Phillips rode Wotan to victory in the Melbourne Cun. W. Cox, who was originally announced as the rider of Beau Vitc in the Derby, is still feeling the efTecls of last week's fall and may not be able to ride at Flcmington. Now Zealand acceptors lor minor events at Flcmington on Saturday are: - Wakeful Stakes: Btw.onia and Quietly. Hotham Handicap: Catalogue and Nealherlca. Unsettled weather is forecast for Derby Day.
