Motor Camp’s First Tenant

The centennial motor camp in Miramar North received its lirst tenants this week. These were, appropriately, a Maori man and his pakeha wife, Mr. and Mrs. James Norton, Christchurch, who are to be concerned with the running of a side-show in Playland. Mr. Norton said he had been staying in motor, camps all over New Zealand and considered that the new camp was beautifully situated, and in other respects was well up to the standards of the best of them. He referred tc* the surfaced approach roads, and to the ample space (24ft square) given to each camper. With his car and caravan, with canvas annexe,' there was ample space to move around. Mr. and Mrs. Norton will be tenants for six months.
