ONLY 136 INTERNED
ALIENS IN BRITAIN THOUSANDS EXEMPTED (British OJlicini Wireless.) Reed. 11 a.m. RUGBY, Nov. 2. More than 13,000 persons have so far appeared before the tribunals set up to examine into the history of enemy aliens. Of these, 136 have been interned and 9565 exempted from internment and from the special restrictions applicable to enemy aliens, and their certificates have been endorsed “refugee from Nazi oppression.” The remaining 3189 have been exempted from internment but not from special restrictions.
