TOLAGA BAY NEWS
(Uorald Correspondent.) First aid classes are being held twice weekly in the Parish Hall, Tolaga Bay. On Tuesday night 15 members attend, and on Saturday afternoon 20. Sister Johnson, sister in charge of the Tolaga Bay Cottage Hospital, who is in charge of the classes, is very pleased with the progress made bv the pupils.
Mrs. Benham and her daughter, Judith, are visiting Mrs. Benham's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Borton, Palmerston, Otago. The Rev. N. F. Benham is supervising the university degree examinations for the Tolaga Bay centre.
The Army Department’s medical board will sit in Tolaga Bay on Saturday to examine all volunteers for the Tolaga Bay and East Coast district.
Mr. and Mrs. J. McNeil, Mr. and Mrs. G. Utting, Mr. and Mrs. Warburton are visitors to Gisborne for the Crearer-Utting wedding. Mr. T. Percy has been admitted to the Cook Hospital, Gisborne.
