EMPIRE CONTINGENTS LONDON COMMITTEE (Reed. Nov. 1, 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 31. The joint Empire societies, with the approval of the' High Commissioners and the Government, have established a hospitality committee under the chairmanship of Lord Milne to coordinate welfare work for Dominion contingents and individuals enrolling in the United Kingdom. Hostels are being established in London and other centres. Accommodation is being provided in private homes for leave and convalescence.
