man commander-in-chief, General von Brauchitsch, are denied.
FATE OF U-BOATS (Reed. Nov. 2, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 31. A report from Berlin states that the official German news agency denies Allied .statements that onethird of the U-boats have been sunk or damaged. The agency adds that the losses are confined to three U-boats known to be overdue.
