ESPIONAGE CHARGE
SWISS GUN SECRETS FOUR PERSONS ACCUSED (Reed. Nov. 2, 9 a.m.) GENEVA, Nov. 1. An espionage trial has begun in which Madame Virginia Rota is accused of trying to cross the frontier with drawings of Swiss anti-aircraft guns and other secrets. Regoer Joel, a munitions factory draughtsman, is alleged to have admitted giving documents to Madame Rota. Paul Rochat and his wife are also accused.
