It is reported from Rome that General Starace has resigned the secretaryship of the Fascist Party and

becomes the chief of staff of the Fascist militia.

General Graziani has been appointed chief of staff of the army in succession to General Pirani. The Italian Cabinet has been reshuffled. Six Ministers have resigned. Some are assigned to other posts. General Valle has resigned the post of chief of staff of the air force. Military training will henceforth be part of the curriculum of Italian high schools and universities.

Signor Ettoire Muti, who is 37 years of age replaces General Starace as Secretary-General of the Fascist Party. Signor Alfiefi has been appointed as ambassador at large. Count Teruzzi becomes Minister in Italian Africa, a post which Signor Mussolini has hitherto held Other new Ministers include the following:—

Signor Ricci, Corporations. Signor Pavolini, Popular Culture. Signor Riccnrdo, Currency Exchange.

Signor Enturie, Communications. Signor Tassinari, Agriculture. Signor Serena, Public Works. General Pricolo. chief of the air staff General Soddu. Under-Secretary for War.
