Mr. and Mrs. F. W. J. Fox, Te Puia, have returned from a visit to England. Miss I. G. Richards, who has resided in Muriwai for some time, is now living in Gisborne. Mr, E. L. Cullen, M.P., was a visitor to Wairoa on Monday and returned to Napier by railcar yesterday. —Special. Mr. T. J. Morrison, postmaster at Wairoa, is on holiday leave and, accompanied by Mrs. Morrison, lias left on a visit to the south.—Special Mr. Raymond Foster, son of Mr. and Mrs. Foster, Waikaremoana, has left Wairoa to join the New Zealand division of the Royal Air Force at the Ohakea air base, Palmerston North.—Special Mr. R. N. Jones, Eastbourne, Wellington, who has spent the past few days in Gisborne, left this morning on his return south, intending to stay briefly at Poukawa, where his eldest daughter, Mrs. J. A. Curran, resides.
