INTOXICATED IN CAR CAPSIZE IN PETONE {Par Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day Francis Herbert Mclvor, a lead moulder, aged 21, was sentenced to 14 days’ imprisonment by the magistrate, Mr. R. M. Goulding, in the Petone Police Court to-day on a charge of intoxication while in charge of a motor car.

His license was suspended for a year.

The police said that the accused’s car overturned in the main street of Petone at 12.30 on Sunday morning. The accused righted it, but it stalled and the police found the accused in a state of intoxication.
