CONTRABAND CHECK
SWEDISH SHIP CARGOES (British Official Wireless.) Read. 9 a.m. RUGBY, Oct. 28. In connection with the German statement that 1 T>G Swedish ships have been detained by the British contraband control since tire war began, the Ministry of Economic Wartare states that the actual numbers to October 25 are: —Swedish ships examined, 65; released without seizure of cargo, 43; cargoes or part ot cargoes detained, 8; still under consideration, 14.
