Freezing Season

No advice has been received yet concerning the opening of the freezing season in Gisborne. It is understood that the Southdown-cross lambs on the flats are coming on well, and a number are almost ready for killing, but whether there are sufficient to warrant the opening of the Kaiti freezing works is apparently doubtful, for on inquiry to-day it was stated that no decision had been reached yet regarding the commencement of killing.
