SHORT NOTICE

TWO FOR TRENTHAM

Two men from this district have been called up at short notice to fill vacancies in the Special New Zealand Military Force, and have been dispatched to Trentham. One is a man with some experience of hospital work, and has been called up for service in the Trentham base hospital, where large numbers of men are being treated for influenza and other complaints arising from inclement weather conditions. The other is a signaller. They are:—

B. A. Ratcliffe, to join the Divisional Corps of Signals.

D. R. Waight, to join the orderly staff of Trentham base hospital.
