RESIGNATION OFFERED
MINISTRY OF MADRAS
(Reed. Oct. 28, noon.) MADRAS. Oct. 27. The Indian Congress Ministry of Madras was resigned.
The Governor has intimated that it is not accepting the resignation until arrangements to carry on the government have been made.
The Bombay Legislature Assembly passed a resolution by 92 votes to 5G expressing disapproval of the Viceroy’s statement concerning the war.
