ORMSKIRK DIVISION NOMINEE OF LABOUR (Reed. Oct. 28, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 20. The National Labour nominee, Commander Stephen King-Hall, has l been returned unopposed for, the Ormskirk Division, Lancashire, seat in the House of Commons. The seat was vacant as a‘result of> the retirement of Sir Samuel Thoma;/ Rosbottam, who was elected as-Hitfe Labour Party member in 1929 and who, since 1931, had represented the constituency as a National. Labour member. Commander King-Hall retired from the Royal Navy in 1929 at the age o( (0 years. He is a director of the United Kingdom Provident Institution. He is the author .of a number of political and historical publications a: well as plays and novels. .
