[ An announcement of the ports at 1 which New Zealand wool for purchase ! by the United Kingdom Government would be appraised, was made by the Minister of Marketing, the Hon. W. Nash, in a broadcast address last night. The ports are Auckland, Gisborne, Napier, Wanganui, Wellington, Christchurch, Timaru, Dunedin and Invercargill. Mr. Nash said after a full conference with the Overseas Shipowners' Allotment Committee, a tentative decision had been reached for appraisement at Tokomaru Bay, Nelson and j Blenheim. I The final decision would depend on i agreement about the extra cost involved in connection with appraise- | ment at these places.
