MOTORISTS’ OPPORTUNITY

SPECIAL. PETROL SUPPLY

Viscount Galway, on Wednesday. November ti, is the recent statement of the Minister of Supply, the Hon. 1). G. Sullivan, that those who wish to make a holiday trip between now and December 1 can lodge an application for a special petrol license with their district postmasters.

When justified, special licenses will be granted authorising the consumption of not more than 30 gallons for cars over 14-h.p. (R.A.C. rating) and 20 gallons for cars under that rating. This additional supply for special holiday trips is in addition to the incieased allowance for November that will be covered by the regular coupon system. A new motor camp equipped with the most up-to-date facilities has been especially established in Wellington, accessibly situated in beautiful surroundings at Miramar, only a few minutes' drive from the Exhibition grounds. There is also parking accommodation at or close to the Exhibition for i 2,000 ears.

For those who do not wish to camp there will be ample accommodation available in Wellington.
