Large Trout Caught
When fishing in the Manawatu River in the vicinity of Longburn, Mr. R. Lewis caught, an extra large brown trout which was in perfect condition. The fish weighed 91b. 6oz. when caught and measured 28in. in length, 7in, in depth and 17m. in girth.
