CAMP OVERCROWDED
HOPUHOPU TRAINEES
M.P.’S IMPRESSIONS
(Pur Pruss Association.) HAMILTON, this day.
As the camp had been built to accommodate 1500 and held now 2800, an unavoidable difficulty had been encountered, said Mr. J. A. Lee, who with the Hon. W. E. Barnard and Colonel Weir visited the Hopuhopu military camp to-day. The men were showing excellent spirit and would carry on the great name of Anzac. Mr. Lee spent the night in camp. Mr. Lee suggested that the men should be marched through the streets of their respective towns after training. Colonel Weir said the men would be transported to Papakura, probably on November 8.
