IMPROVED PRICES

MARKET CONFIDENCE

(Reed. Oct. 26, 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 25

The confidence of the London Stock Exchange is well maintained. Giltedged stocks are firmer all round. There is considerable buying of Australian and New Zealand stocks. Australian 5 per cent stocks touched £IOO 5s and New Zealand 4i per cent 1948-58 £B6 15s.
