It is not known whether the Deutschland or the Emden captured the American freighter, City of Flint, as the latest reports name both as raiders.

The Oslo correspondent of the British . United Press says that the Deutschland also sank the Norwegian steamer Lorentz W. Hansen. Another Norwegian ship rescued the crew. The Oslo press declares that the Deutschland is operating south-east of Newfoundland.
