BRITAIN AND SOVIET CARRIAGE OF TIMBER (Reed. Oct. 25, 2.20 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 24. Replying in the House of Commons to questions concerning the trade agreement with Russia, the President of the Board of Trade, Mr. Oliver Stanley, declared that the possibility of employing Soviet ships would be fully explored in the course of any negotiations. It was believed that some British ships were now bringing timber from Archangel
