A message from Hfisinki states that, -in announcing the' return of the Finnish Minister, M. Paasiviki, from Moscow with new Soviet proposals,' the Finnish Foreign Office spokesman said there was no reason for alarm
He was uncertain whether M. “'aasiviki would again go to Moscow for further negotiations, or whether hose would be pursued through the normal diplomatic channels. A message from Stockholm states that the Soviet Minister to Sweden, M. Kollontay, has gone to Moscow by air.
The Paris radio gives reports of serious disturbances which are said to have broken out at Wilno (Vilna), the population looting shops. The military were called out and fired on the looters, many of whom are reported to have been killed. A typhoid epidemic is raging.
