MECHANISING ARMY
DELIVERY OF LORRIES (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. Approximately GO assembled army lorry chassis arrived in Auckland yesterday to be equipped with bodies and dispatched to the military forces as part of the major scheme to mechanise the New Zealand Army, ,The work was done on a co-opera-tive basis by Auckland firms, the delivery, date being November 3. The contract amounted to £6OOO.
