LOSSES AT SEA
MORE BRITISH SHIPS 7256-TON CLAN LINER (Reed. Oct. 26, noon.) LONDON, Oct. 25. The British steamer Tafna has been sunk in the Atlantic by a U-boat. The crew of 31 were saved.
The Menin Ridge, the loss of which was reported yesterday, was also sunk in the Atlantic. Five survivors have been landed at Gibraltar,
It is reported that another British ship, the Clan Chisholm, of 7256 tons, has been sunk. The Clan Line announces that all the European officers of the Clan Chisholm were saved, but 63 native seamen are missing.
