GOLF CLUB SEASON ENDS (Hcvaltl Correspondent,) The Rakauroa Golf Club finished a very successful season last week-

end The weather being ideal, The course was well patronised. At the conclusion of play Mr. 11. i J. F. Tombletoi congratulated l the! winners and runners-up in the competitions. and thanked the secretary, Mr. F. McLean, for his good work. Mr. Tombleson then called on Mrs. T. A. Redpath to present the cups. Winners jf trophies were:— Ladies. —Beaufoy and Maude Cup. j for A Grade chamoionsnip: Mrs M. i Moore. B Grade championship: Miss L.

McLean. Best qualifying round, McLoughlin Memorial Cup: Mrs. Sim.

Putting and Driving: Miss M. Beaufoy. Men:—Good and Company Cun. for A Grade championship: L. McDonald. Common, Shelton Manuhiri Cup, for B Grade championship: V. Tail. Best qualifying round. Presidents Cup: J.C. Collins. Putting: F. D. Beaufiy. Driving: F. C. McLean.

Miss K. Shaw sr.ont the week-end with her parents.—Mr. and Mrs. F. G. Fielder and Master Bevan Fielder, vdo have been spending a few days in Gisborne, have returned home.
