Model Flying Records Although the flight of 3min. 30sec. by a model aeroplane on Darton Field during the week-end was a record for the Gisborne Model Aeroplane Club, it is stated that not long ago a model builder, Mr. M. Cameron, in an unofficial flight had his plane in the air for more than 10 minutes, constituting what is believed to be the best flight for a model ever achieved in Gisborne. Two other club records were broken during the Gisborne club’s annual Labour Day meeting, these being C. Andrew's glider flight of 33sec. and that of a spar model, rising oIT the ground, by C.
