DELIGHTFUL PARTY FUNCTION IN MOTU .(■Herald Correspondent.) Mr.' arid Mrs. R S. Fisher gave a delightful paixy in the .Motu Hali on Saturday night in honour of the eoming-of-age of their daughter, 3ecty. The hall was gaily decorated with lycopodium, scarlet poppies, ana .railers of clematis. A programme of dances and original games kept the guests happily entertained, Miss Una Reed and Mr. A. Crozier providing the music. The jupper tables, which were laden with x variety of savouries arid delicious sweets, were artistically arranged .vith tqll vases of lemon aretocis. The .arge birthday cake was much admired, being decorated in lemon and gold.
Mr. G. Phillips, on behalf of the guests, wished Miss Fisher every happiness and success. Musical honours and cheers were accorded the guest if honour and ltcr parents. In the unavoidable absence of Mrs. Fisher, Miss Mary Fisher, who was wearing a gown of striped taffetas, 'acted as hostess. Miss Betty fisher's frock was of lemon sprigged taffetas, with a girdle of toning riboon.
