TOLAGA TENNIS CLUB (Herald Correspondent.) The Tolaga Bay Tennis Club held its opening day >n Monday, ano although the courts were a little heavy it was the best day expeti* enced lor years. The largest attend•mrv of members nc visitors yet seen on the courts was present. The president. Mr. H. R. Littleworth, welcomed new members and roped the old members would dc their best to encourage still more members, ‘hus keeping the club in a good financial position. Mrs. J. Thornton played the first ball and declared '.he courts open. Winners of a Yankee tournament were; —Women: Miss t. McDonald. Men: T. ’rn.iswick.
