“SOLDIERING DE LUXE”

TROOPS’ QUARTERS MR. SEMPLE PLEASED (l’er Press Association.) BLENHEIM, this day. Soldiering de luxe was the expression used bv the Minister of Public ■Yorks, the Hon, R. Semple, commenting after an inspection this morning on the accommodation provided for .he Wellington general reconnaissance jir squadron training at Woodbourne air station. Mr. Semple said he was well pleased with the conditions at the aerodrome and the progress towards completion. The men could have nothing to complain of in the quarters provided the Government was doing its best to see hat similar accommodation was prodded at all training centres, not only 'or the air force but for military units. There would be none of the blundering which took place at the beginning of the last war when many nen were lost through illness and disease because of the poor accommodaion and conditions under which they were trained.
