“BOOMING” AT PRESENT Owing to sporting circles in Britain being considerably reduced, football is ’’.booming” in neutral Eire. Irish Soccer clubs are jumping at the chance of utilising the services of famous British players temporarily disengaged. Already the former Scottish and Arsenal star, Alex James, has decided to throw in his lot with an Eire club, Drumcondra, and others will follow, to give soccer, not only in Dublin, but in the Eire provinces, much-needed impetus.
