KIA ORA CLUB REPORT EXTRA COURT PROVIDED A satisfactory financial position is shown in the Kia Ora Bowling and Tennis Club's annual report and bal-ance-sheet to be presented to-morrow 'evening to the annual meeting ot members in the Makaraka Hall. Alter allowing for depreciation on buildings and plant there is a credit balance of £l9.*
Increasing membership has made it necessary to lay down an extra court, and during the off-season the two inside courts have been dug up and are in splendid order after having been resown The report records that the bowling green and croquet courts have been laid down and arc receiving their final top-dressing. A good water supply was assured now owing to Mr. Charles Lange’s success in striking a_ good underground stream, to which had been coupled an electric motor and pressure pump.
