SICILIAN DEVELOPMENT HUGE ITALIAN OUTLAY (.Reed. Oct. 24. 9 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 23. The Rome correspondent of the Associated Press of Great Britain says that in connection with the Sicilian development scheme. Signor Mussolini's decree involves 10 years’ work costing £20.000,000, of which the Government will provide half, in order to break up 1,250.000 acres of landed estates into 20,000 small farms, race again making Sicily the bread basket of Italy.
Officials declare that the plan is an earnest indie it ion of Signor Mussolini’s peaceful intentions.
