Twenty Japanese army and navy officers and officials of Japanese China assured Wang of co-operation.

A report from Kulangsu states that the international settlement authorities have posted warnings against anti-Japanese activities and prohibiting the organisation of■ anti-Japanese gatherings and societies or the publication of anti-Japanese propaganda, displays of the Chinese Nationalist flag, and the possession of guns and explosives. Offenders are threatened with being delivered to the Japanese, who have lifted the blockade.
