Perfect weather prevailed for the final day of the Wellington RacingClub’s meeting at Trentham to-day. There was a large holiday crowd. The track was fast. Results:—
Rona Hurdles Handicap, of £300; 1J miles.—l-1 Clarion Call, 12.1 (RohlofT), 1; 3-3 Good Sun, 9.0, 2; 7-7 Donegal, 10.2, 3. Al! started. Three lengths; a head. Spring Novice Handicap, of £300; 7 furlongs.—2-2 Duncannon, 8.7 (Wiggins), 1; 8-9 Scandal, 8.7, 2; 3-4 Boloyna, 9.0, 3. Scratched: Happy Ending. Three lengths; a head. Time, 1.27.
