The Fascist National Council met at Palermo, and heard General Starace. secretary of the Fascist Party, outline a far-reaching campaign “worthy of ancient Rome” for the development of the great Silician estates now derelict, transforming them into fertile fields and giving bread and work to thousands.
. Count Ciano and the German Ambassador signed an agreement to transfer Germans from the Italian Tyrol.
