POLISH TERRITORY PROMISE BY HITLER cßecd. Oct. 23, 9 a.m.) LONDON. Aug. 22. A message from Berlin states that Herr Hitler has promised to return to Slovakia the territory which Slovakia lost to Poland.
A New York report states that the Polish Morning Herald’s Paris correspondent quotes the Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs, M. Zaleski. as saying that Poland does not recognise the Russian plebiscite in the former Polish territory and has not renounced her claim in favour of Russia.
“I am sure that other civilised peoples will not recognise it,” he added.
