TWO BRITISH SHIPS ATLANTIC SINKINGS (Reed. Oct 20, 11.50 a.m.) i LONDON, Oct. 19 % The American steamer Independence Hall radios that she is arriving at Bordeaux to-day with 300 survivors of the British steamers Yorkshire and City of Mandalay, which were sunk in the Atlantic. Of that number, 223 are from the Yorkshire, from which GO passengers and crew are still unaccounted for.
The Yorkshire was a steamer of 10,134 tons built in 1920 and the City of Mandalay was of 7028 tons and was built in 1925.
