TO-DAY’S ARRIVALS Margaret W., m.v., 3.25 a.m., 394 tons, J. R. Owen, from Auckland. Pakura, m.v.. 8.25 a.m.. 719 tons. C, W. Coldicutt. from Auckland.

VESSELS DUE AT GISRORNE Pukeko, Lyttelton and Wellington,

October 25. Kopara, Auckland, October 26. Wainui, southern ports, October 30.

COASTAL TRADE The Pakura reached Gisborne at 8.25 a.m to-day from Portland. Auckland and' Coast bays. The ship completes here to-night and departs for Napier, thence Waikokopu and Auckland. On arrival at Auckland the vessel will undergo annual overhaul.

The Pukeko, from Wellington, loads at Lyttelton to-day and to-morrow for Napier, Waikokopu. Gisborne and the Coast, The ship is to discharge at Napier on Tuesday and at Gisborne on Wednesday.

The Kopara is expected to load at Portland this week and at Auckland on Tuesday for Coast bays. Gisborne and Napier.

The Margaret W.. which arrived at Gisborne early this morning from Auckland. Tokomaru Bay and Tolaga Bay, completes discharge and loading here about 5 p.m. and sails lor Auckland.

The Wainui should be dispatched from Wellington to-day for Bluff, at which port she is to commence loading for Gisborne and Napier. The ship works Bluff on Tuesday. Dunedin on Wednesday. Oamaru and Tiiuaru on Thursday, and Lyttelton on Friday, thence Wellington.

The Kiwitea is to load cord at Westport to-day. completing later at Greymouth. for Napier and Gisborne. The vessel is due here towards the end of the month.

NO DISCHARGE AT BLUFF "No boats from the United Kingdom or Canada will discharge at Bluff in the future." said Mr. 11. L. Mail - at a meeting of the council of the Invercargill Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Mail - added that it would be necessary to take delivery of goods at one of the main ports in the North Island and arrange to have them transhipped south. This, he said, was a war measure.
