RAROTONGA DEATH

REV. MOTHER ESTELLE EDUCATIONAL SERVICE (Klee. 'l'd. Copyright—United Cress Assn.) (Reed. Oct. 20, 9 a.m.) RAROTONGA, Oct. 18. The death occurred in hospital at Rarotonga yesterday of the Rev. Mother Estelle, Superior of the Sisters of St. .'Joseph of Cluny, Rarotonga.

Born at Dijon, France, in 1879, the Rev. Mother Estelle commenced her missionary career at Papeete in 1898. She spent one year tit Gambier Island, and in 1905 was transferred to Rarotonga. Except for a period of seven years at Papeete, her life's work was devoted to education among the Rarotungan natives.
