The contest for the B.S.A. challenge trophy for the miniature rifle club Empire shoot, resulted: —Canterbury, N.Z., 3902 points, 1; London, 3960 points, 2; Ontario, 3955 points, 3; Wellington, 3936 points, was eighth, and Nelson, 3837 points was thirtythird. Canterbury's score was only six below the world record.
