YOUNG FARMERS’ CLUB (I lei-.-i I<l ('<iri-i-spon<l l* n 1.) There was a gcod attendance of members at a meeting of the Nuhaka Young Farmers' Club held in Unity Ilall. Mr. G. Whitmore presided. Mr. D. A. Hughes gave an interesting address on the iugol solution treatment for contagious abortion in dairy cows. The speaker dealt fully with the subject, stressing the point that care must be taken in administering the solution if the best results were to be obtained. After answering a number of questions, Mr. Hughes was accorded a hearty vole of thanks.

Mr. 11. Hamlin, of the Nuhaka postal stall’, lias taken up his duties on the Gisborne staff. -Mr. Hamlin will be much missed, having taken a keen interest in the Nuhaka Boy Scouts and church activities. Mr. T. F. Annear, of the Takapau office, has joined the Nuhaka postal staff.
