KNOX SUNDAY SCHOOL
ANNIVERSARY WEEK SERVICES AND CONCERT The Knox Sunday School celebrated its anniversary this week with services and a concert, good attendances favouring each garnering. Special mention was made at each of me Sunday services. In the morning, when the speaker was Mr. F. H. Forge, a solo was rendered by John Waiien and a recitation by Nesta Paton. A Bible reading was given by Gordon Walker. Miss M. Skiilen presided at the piano, and Mr. Harris conducted the choir. An illustrated talk was given in the afternoon by Mr. A. Skiilen, following which cradle roll certificates were presented. John Jennings rendered a solo, Fay Harris contributed a recitation, ana tne Bible reading was given by Fay Harris. The evening service was conducted by the Rev. H. A. Gould, when solos were contributed by John Jennings and Mr. J. B. Waugh, while A. Flockhart and E. Ritchie sang a duet. Thelma Thomas gave the Scripture reading. At a tea and concert held on Tuesday evening, the superintendent, Mr. J. B. Waugh, on behalf of the Sunday school staff, thanked Mrs. D. Waugh and Misses Marshall, Ritchie and Orr for their assistance and all ethers who had assisted with supper donations. The concert programme was con tributed ’to by the following: Mary King and John .Jennings, songs, Coleen Roe, lan Flockhart, Nesta Paton, Ron McKay, Betty Rodgers, Keith Nelson, Fay Harris, John McKay, Ruth Smith, Terry McDonald. Eva Rodgers, Trevor Schultz, Joy Schultz and Gordon Walker, recitations; Terry McDonald, Janet Kay, Ross Kay, Pam Turbitt and Ruth Doherty, recital; Gordon Walker and William Roe, mouth organ solos; Eva and Lois Rodgers, Betty Rodgers and Josephine Dunn, Pat and Janet Redstone, duets; Eunice Ritchie and Audrey Flockhart, pianoforte duets. Mem fcers of the Friendly Circle Choir appeared as a quintette.
